The ACCU-BEND is the only
machine in the world to completely layout, notch,
flange (bend the notched 1⁄2 inch bottom),
and completely bend the full final shape of the
channel letter return. No other machine on the
world comes close! What normally would take 30
to 45 minutes to shape and form by hand, the ACCU-BEND
completes perfectly in about 4 to 5 minutes.
Say goodbye to hand brakes
and radius pipes!!!
The ACCU-BEND can produce all types of channel
letters, including the most common traditional
letter, with a notched and flanged bottom edge
used for attaching the back, welded letters with
a straight return side wall which is welded to
the letter back, reverse channel letters which
have the fronts welded to the straight return
wall, and back lit channel letters, which allow
light to be seen escaping from the back of the
letter.
The ACCU-BEND machine excepts .dxf formmated
files from your favorite Sign software. Having
already produced the artwork for your aluminum
backs and plastic faces, just output the .dxf
file, select the letters to be bent, and remove
the completed letters. It's that simple. With
the soaring cost of labor, why would you want
to bend channel letters by hand?
The ACCU-BEND machines are covered by a full
one year warranty, covering both parts and labor.
Unlimited (800) support for the life of the machines.
The ACCU-BEND is installed and your company is
trained on-site producing channel letter returns
within the first day. The machine is so easy to
use, any one at your company can produce the highest
quality letter within no time.
The letter bending machine keeps the production
time for a channel letter return very short: between
600 and 800% faster than manual bending.
The computer-controlled Accu-Bend machine can
bend a letter to your exact specifications in
just a few minutes, including a bottom notched
flange. The machine shapes corners and curves
with equal ease. The completed letter is then
ready for the aluminum back to be clinched, stapled
riveted, or welded on. The Accu-Bend machine has
a production capability equivalent to about seven
people.
The width or depth of the channel letter coil
can range from 1 to 9.5 inches. The aluminum used
can vary in thickness from 0.03 to 0.063 inch.
The Accu-Bend comprises three component pieces:
a computer console, a motorized material-feed
table which can accommodate up to 400 lbs. of
material and keeps material from uncoiling, and
finally the bending machine. A true heavyweight,
the machine consumes only 12 x 6-ft. space but
weighs about 1,800 pounds.
With the Accu-Bend, the only manual steps involve
loading/unloading metal-coil stock material and
final assembly of the finished letter. Using this
machine, a standard, 24-in. channel letter takes
approximately five minutes to produce. |
